Burning Man - The Day

Black Rock City did indeed even have a Wedding Chapel. And it got a lot of use... Sigh... Always a groomsman, never the groom. - Elecentricity is my friends, The Orange Kids, theme camp site. mmmm... fun.

One of the many strange, huge, beautiful - Did I mention strange? - pieces of Playa art.

A sweet shot of the line of art on the open Playa.
- front to back: 1) strange squidy art 2) white arch art 3) The Temple Of Honor 4) The Man

It was hot. I laid down.

One of my favorite Art Cars.
- I think I was one of the only people that could actually fit in those last couple.

mmmm.... body paint... oooooohhh...

Another pirate ship. Not quite as cool, but still a great effort.
- Underwater was the theme a few years back, so these are leftovers from then.

Cool exhibit mirroring the festival itself.
- "Free Your Mind And Your Ass Will Follow" - G. Clinton (This is the front white card)

Nothing controversial about this... right? ...Anyone? ...Right?
- This guy was not part of the official exhibit. He saw the cross, took off his clothes and mounted it.

It should possibly also be noted at this time that this years theme was "Beyond Belief". Basically religious, spiritual or otherwise faith inspired art.

This one was WAY weird. The Stargate - not the movie. If you walk through the crystal will energize your DNA so you can feel and experience the 4th dimension. It may not happen immediately, but eventually it will happen. Oh, and the aliens are among us. ...yeah.
- I did indeed walk the path and my DNA has never felt better. Thank you for asking.
