Burning Man - The Day

The steep Mayan pyramid-like stairs up to The Man.
- yes, that woman is not wearing a shirt... but boy o boy should she.

Yes, that is a full fledged pirate ship in the desert. It drives around and everything.
- This is the Esplanade, the main street that encircles The Man.

Yo ho, yo ho, avast ye camel humper!

The sun beats relentlessly down on me... Johnny Depp, I'm not.

Riding on bicycles was the only way to do this thing. It's way too big. And way too in the desert.
- Friends Orion & Roxy ride past.

"No Shirt, No Shoes, Mo' Service." Clothing was indeed optional.
- One of the many random camps offering free boos.

I don't care if the bus is Magic - I've got my Schwinn.

The dust sweeps across the Playa, causing lungs to heave, bikes to rust and dinner to be crunchy.

A very large house of cards in the desert. Why, you ask? ...I dunno.

Ehron suits up for the coming dust storm.
